There is really nothing
to add to these beautiful statements so universal and true, that it is
surprising that why we don't get them. Just sit in a corner silently and ask
yourself do you really know? Let us just get it by one example.
Why does an apple fall? Gravitation? What is Gravitation? Force of Attraction
between two bodies? Well why do two bodies attract each other? Yea.... Even
a Ph.D in Physics would not survive two more Whys?
Got it?
Ultimately you say it is law i.e.
why. So what do you mean by law? You mean look man, they attract because they
attract, I don't know. But how beautifully you have hided I
don't know into knowledge. This is it with all
the knowledge whether it is business, Management, Technical or
whatsoever.
The fact is we don't know and all
these knowing take us no further. In reality we don't know. Okay one more
example: Why trees are green. Because of Pigment? Why pigment is green? Because
of chlorophyll? Why Chlorophyll is green? Because it absorbs all but green
light? Why it absorbs all and reflects green? Well, well,
...............
We have disguised ourselves as
knowledgeable behind such psuedo knowledge? What is the point in going to
chlorophyll, when ultimately you have to say I don't know (If you are honest).
Of course knowing this may help us in diagnosing the illness of tree or like.
But ultimately the fact is tree is green because it is green! But we are so much
afraid of the I don't know that we hide behind psuedo knowledge. Like that fool
pigeon who closes its eyes seeing a cat thinking the cat has
gone!!!
One more example is: If u try to
know love, love will evaporate and u will not be able to love. The fact is u can
be love, u can't know it!!!!
And again How much we claim we know, is ours? Is it really
my knowledge or borrowed or taken? We pretend what we don't know hence Tao calls
us Sick minded. Why u go to mandir or shrines and bow down? Have u seen or
experienced God? U say u believe in God? Hv u ever said I believe in Sun? U will
ask what is there to believe in Sun? It is there! Then why believe in God? U
even use God. Almost all our knowledge is borrowed. Something in which we hide
our ignorance and fool ourselves of knowledge!
Why are we afraid of I don't
know? Because if you don't know it is insecurity. And we want to be secure!
Secure at the cost of happiness! Secure at the cost of fooling ourselves. No
doubt then that we create misery for ourselves. Because I don't know leaves you
into unknown. And remember Enlightenment is Journey into unknown.
Then there are fools who make
knowledge ego. In fact, all knowledge is EGO! All Knowledge is ghost that
haunts you! Falsifies you!Projects u outside ur true nature!
Creates a false identity far away from ur true
nature!!!!!!!!
There can only be one
knowledge and that knowledge is knowledge of you. That is why our Vedas have
called all sciences as Avidya and only Meditation as Vidya. Vidya is which
liberates you! But the knowledge you accumulate from life and colleges stick to
you sticking you to .............................. No doubt then that you are
afraid of being alone. All the knowledge haunts you! But
there are fools who want to merge Knowledge and Spirituality!
You hv heard of the story of Midas the King who asked for a boon
that whatever he touches turns gold and then couldn't eat or love. Well whatever
you know is Gold and whatever you don't know is God! Because if you know you
can't be! And life is celebration of being!
And we have psuedo knowledge of
even ourselves like My name, my relations, my wife, My .................... Just
go on asking yourself the question Who am I? And all ur psuedo knowledge of
yourself will fall!!!!!
And I don't know is such a
beautiful state!! In fact the only aim of education is to have the state
of I don't know. Because if u know, u can't learn. Hence I don't know is
the state of ultimate learning, infinity, ever growing. In fact, it is the
beginning of mystery.
Beginning of the days of curiosity
that we as a child possessed. That we as a child could do? Take a bath in mud (U
don't know who you are)! Enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Enjoy the planets. Enjoy
the apple falling. Wondering at this and that! And seeing
Godliness!!!
And where there is mystery
know for sure God is dawning!
But it requires courage to
take a plunge into unknown, into I don't know and
realizing really that I don't know. To let go and start in I don't know. And when you really don't know you are enlightened because you don't know a moment from moment,
past, future, this, that, him or her! You are existing and so is existence with
you! And knowing and zeal is Ego only. That attachment is EGO! Once free from
that you really don't know, you just watch. Yes, then you can know ..... ,
knowing I don't know. U are using Knowingness then and not being used by it. What, Yes I don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
